Is it just me or Toxcct's Polars site is down today? I am sure I was able to access it earlier this week.

The issue is known, but is from the host platform, so there is nothing I can do about it unfortunately :(

For example, in the RORC Race:
- if I use zezo polars with 17kts wind speed, the best VMG is with 141°TWA
-if I use toxcct polars, with the same wind, the best VMG is with 142°TWA
Not big difference, but 1° while many miles...

At 17 knots he VMG is almost the same between 141° and 143°.

There is a difference in the thousands, but there is not something that will lose you the race. It's like 9.082 vs. 9.083 vs 9.080

So it's about the sorting order - from low to high or vice versa, and maybe a bit about rounding errors. I guess my data goes via more transformations and has a little bit more noise.

BTW the game has up to 1° difference behind the scenes, so when you set 142 it may actually be 142.5 and outside of the optimum.

Another thing to consider is that at those differences sailing into a slightly more wind may make more sense than sticking wit the exact optimum.
