Today was the last hot and dry day before a cold front, the country is in a lock-down state but a 4-year old needs to breathe some fresh air and climb some hills so we spent some time outside.

Cvetan, in Ultim boat options there is "hull polish" that seems to be giving a slight upspeed in all conditions. I don't see it in your options...

Hull polish does not make enough difference to affect the routing strategy. It's only 0.3% difference in speed. That's 4 minutes in 24 hours.

Foils add 4% speed. Even if you only use them half of the time, that's still 10 times bigger difference than the polish.

It's added when you select all other options but not available as separate checkbox.

It depends upon the race and the expected conditions. Best thing is to run the router before the start, selecting one option at a time and see what your expected arrival time is. Then try a few options together that fit your budget in tokens or cash you are willing to spend.

If it's a really long race where the 16 day route is not going to be indicative of the full race then you have to use some knowledge of the expected conditions. For instance, in the JV, more than half the distance sailed will be in the roaring 40's, so heavy air sails and foils are a must. The speeds are high, so 5% advantage can be 2knts of boat speed. Not having light air sails to cross a few transitions will be a lot less consequential.
